Position: Purser

Job Overview:
We are potentially seeking an experienced and highly professional Purser to join our elite team aboard a luxurious 70-meter motor yacht. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the yacht, focusing on administrative, financial, and guest services management.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee all financial transactions, including accounting, and payroll. Manage currency exchange, and ensure all financial records are accurate and compliant.
Procurement & Inventory: Manage inventory of office space as well as procurement for all departments and distribution efficiently.
Guest Services Coordination: Manage guest itineraries, travel arrangements, and special events on board.
Administrative Duties: Handle all paperwork, including crew documentation, port clearances, customs, and immigration. Ensure compliance with maritime laws and regulations.
Crew Management: Support in crew scheduling, welfare, and training initiatives. Mediate crew issues and foster a positive working environment.
Safety and Compliance: Participate in safety drills, maintain safety equipment records, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Purser on yachts of similar or larger size, or in a senior administrative role in maritime or hospitality industries.
Strong background in accounting, with proficiency in yacht management software.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with fluency in English.
Must hold valid STCW certifications, including but not limited to Basic Safety Training, Proficiency in Survival Craft, and Medical First Aid, Purser COC preferred but not mandatory.
Must have a valid passport, seafarer's medical certificate, and be prepared for worldwide travel.
