Chief Officer / 1st Mate

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chief Officer for a 74m private/charter motor yacht to join the vessel in the coming days in the U.S.

This is a busy world cruising yacht with plans to be in the Mediterranean for summer '25 then heading east after an end of season shipyard period.

Working on a 3:3 rotation.

Proven experience as a Chief Officer on yachts of similar size essential

Valid STCW and ENG1.

Chief Mate 3000 as minimum.

Shipboard Safety Officer certificate

B1/B2

Strong understanding of navigation, safety procedures, and yacht management.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and under pressure.

Comprehensive knowledge of all bridge equipment.

Ideal candidate will have job continuity in rank and excellent verifiable references.

19 crew in total.

English mother tongue or proficiency in English language.
