Chief Officer / 1st Mate

FIRST MATE required on 35m+ sail yacht in the South Pacific.

Looking for a confident Mate with a true love of sailing, ideally from NZ or Australia, to join a relaxed private program currently in Fiji. Best suited to someone holding RYA Ocean Yachtmaster (OOW preferred) who is passionate about hands-on sailing, remote cruising, and assisting kind elderly owners who value a calm, patient approach onboard.

A dive ticket or other water sports skills are a big plus. You’ll work closely with the Captain, need to be adaptable, and be happy jumping in on deck or helping guests with activities. This is about enjoying the journey, taking time to do things right, and fostering a warm onboard atmosphere.
