2nd Steward (ess)

80m+ dual season motor yacht is seeking an experienced 2nd Stewardess to join the interior team for the Mediterranean summer season. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior role on a world-cruising programme with new owners, a strong team culture, and the potential to transition into a permanent rotational position.

The role: • Support the Chief Stewardess/Purser with the day-to-day running of the interior department • Step up to manage the interior when the Chief Stewardess/Purser is occupied • Lead by example and support the wider interior team across service, housekeeping, and laundry • Maintain high standards during busy owner trips and potential charter periods • Assist with interior administration and operational planning • Mediterranean-based programme with owner use and charter potential • Start date: ASAP • Initial temporary contract through to the end of August • Potential to transition into a permanent role following a short leave period to align with the rotational schedule

What we’re looking for: • Minimum 3 years’ yachting experience • Previous experience as a 2nd Stewardess or Senior Stewardess • Confident stepping up and running the interior department when required • Strong all-round knowledge of service, housekeeping, and laundry • Good computer and administrative skills • Proactive, organised, and forward-thinking approach • Positive leadership style with the ability to lead by example • Strong work ethic and team-focused mindset
